Step 1: Arrival Notification
You’ll get an email the day before your service and a text 30–60 minutes before your technician arrives to let you know they are on their way.
No need to be home, but please ensure we have easy access to cleaning areas and please ensure dogs are secured inside and any doggy doors are locked for the safety of our team.
Step 2: Thorough Garden Cleanup
We carefully walk your garden -including front, back, side gardens, and flower beds - to collect all visible dog waste.
Technicians follow a systematic pattern and double-check the area to make sure nothing is missed.
Step 3: Post-Cleanup Safety Check
Once your garden is cleaned of dog poop, our technician will leave your property and ensure the gates are closed for your pets’ and children’s safety.
We’ll send you a photo to confirm your gate is secure and notify you that you have been scooped.
Step 4: Dog Waste Disposal
All waste is double-bagged in leak-proof, biodegradable bags and disposed of responsibly in your Wheelie bin, always compliant with local council rules.
After every visit, we sanitise our tools and footwear with pet safe, non-toxic, kennel-grade disinfectant to prevent the spread of germs and illness - maintaining a safe, healthy environment for everyone.

🟢 About Our Service
Yes. We thoroughly walk through your entire outside area, including the front, back, and side gardens, as well as flower beds, removing all visible dog waste. We'll also ask about any specific areas you'd like us to pay extra attention to in your onboarding form.
Yes. We work in every season and almost all weather. We only pause during heavy snow, ice, or storms.
We may adjust schedules on major holidays and will always notify you a week in advance. Just so you know, we are closed for 2 weeks between Christmas and New Year, and this is, of course, reflected in a reduced December fee.
Also, if you will be out of town for the holidays and your dog won't be using the garden, please notify us at least one week in advance so that you will not be charged for any visit(s) that week (it will be credited with your next billing cycle).
Yes. You can book a single cleanup or choose regular visits.
Most people choose weekly, but we also offer twice weekly, bi-weekly, monthly and one-off visits. We can set up a schedule that works for you.
For weekly cleanups, we’re usually done in 8–15 minutes, depending on your garden size and number of dogs. If we visit less often or the garden is bigger than usual, it can take longer, as doggy waste has a way of piling up!
🟢 Safety and Pets
Safety is one of our top priorities. Before each visit, we clean our tools and shoes with pet-safe kennel-grade sanitiser, wear fresh gloves and shoe covers to avoid spreading germs, and make sure gates are closed, for which we send you a photo as proof for peace of mind. Lastly, our staff is trained to look for abnormalities in your pet’s waste, which can be early signs of illness. We will alert you promptly if we notice anything unusual so your dog can see a vet for expert care.
We love dogs, but for the safety of our team, we prefer pets to stay inside during our visit, as even friendly dogs can be unpredictable. If you’ve chosen complimentary deodorising services, it’s best to keep your dog indoors for at least 1 hour while the product dries.
Yes, please let us know if your dog is sick. This helps us take extra precautions to protect both our team and your pet.
🟢 Access to Your Garden
You can give us a key, lock code, or arrange another way to let us in.
Yes. We need a way to access your garden from the outside without entering your home, as our insurance doesn’t cover that. Don’t worry- we’ll treat your property with care.
No. As long as we can access the garden from the outside, you don’t have to be there.
🟢 Scheduling
We try to accommodate your preferred day whenever possible, but our routes are planned the day before to ensure efficiency with our routing and keep prices affordable. Therefore, we cannot guarantee a specific day every time. We'll always notify you the day before your next service and the morning of your service day. For parties or special events, give us a heads-up and we’ll do our best to help.
We’ll always send a text message 30-60 minutes before our arrival.
Yes. Just let us know at least a week in advance, and we’ll adjust your schedule.
🟢 Pricing and Payments
Prices start from £20.32 per visit for 1 dog on a weekly schedule and vary based on the number of dogs and visit frequency. We pre-bill monthly at the start of each month. Contact us for a personalised quick, free quote.
It depends - we usually charge more for the first initial cleaning visit if your garden hasn’t been cleaned in over 2 weeks, as more piles will have accumulated and thus take longer to clean. This would be £45 for the first 30 minutes and an extra £15 for any incremental 15 minutes. We'll always let you know in advance.
But don’t worry, new signups to our weekly, twice-weekly or biweekly service can often take advantage of our free first cleanup promotion that might be running at that time!
No contracts. You can start, modify or cancel anytime - see our T&C for more details.
For recurring service, we ask for your card to be kept securely on file and billed automatically on the 1st of each month. Your first payment is taken when you sign up (pro-rated if mid-month, minus any free first-visit offer). This keeps your service running smoothly with no missed cleanups or manual payments.
For one-time cleanups, we ask for a 50% deposit at signup, with the rest due once the job is finished.
The Client Portal or Hub is your personal online portal within Scoop and Tidy where you can view and approve quotes, check upcoming cleanups, review past visits, and pay invoices securely - all in one place. It’s powered by Jobber, the trusted scheduling and invoicing platform we use to keep everything running smoothly. You’ll receive a unique link by email or text after you book with us, and you can log in anytime to manage your services.
